Fast screening of rice knockout mutants by multi-channel microchip electrophoresis

► Multi-channel microchip electrophoresis system was investigated for the first time for GM rice analysis. ► Fast variety identification and genotyping of GM rice were achieved with high sensitivity. ► Programmed field strength gradient was applied for fast analysis without any loss of resolving power and reproducibility.
