Quantification of acylglycines in human urine by HPLC electrospray ionization-tandem mass spectrometry and the establishment of pediatric reference interval in local Chinese

► Acylglycines (AG) are consistently raised in IEM patients even in remission. ► The first LC-MS/MS method for AG determination, with AG isomers, was developed. ► Reference intervals for acylglycines in local pediatric Chinese were established. ► It is the first data set of AG reference interval in Chinese pediatric population.
