Cloud point extraction and spectrophotometric determination of mercury species at trace levels in environmental samples

► The reagent of PAN and TAR were used in two different method for cloud point extraction. ► The developed methods were applied to determine mercury species in environmental samples. ► The proposed methods are fairly simple, cheap, environmental friendly and useful. ► The linear range of the method is highly wide and suitable for its application to real samples.
