Static headspace analysis using polyurethane phases - Application to roasted coffee volatiles characterization

► The present work deals with the application of PU foams as novel polymeric phase for static headspace analysis. ► This research is new and was tested to characterize the volatiles profile of roasted coffee matrices. ► The comparison of the data obtained with other well-established approaches showed us that this polymeric phase is very promising for future volatile analytical applications.
