⺠Sphingosine-1-phosphate lyase (GPL) yields aldehydes from sphingoid phosphates. ⺠GPL produces pentadecanal from 2-amino-3-hydroxyheptadecyl phosphate (C17-dhS1P). ⺠GC/MS quantification of pentadecanal as its pentafluorobenzyloxime (C15-PFBO). ⺠GPL activity by incubation with C17-dhS1P and GC/MS analysis of C15-PFBO.
