Comparison of alkaline fuel cell membranes of random &Â block poly(arylene ether sulfone) copolymers containing tetra quaternary ammonium hydroxides

► Anion conductive block copolymer membranes were synthesized. ► Block copolymer membranes showed higher ionic conductivity than that of random. ► Ammonium hydroxide polymers were highly soluble in polar aprotic solvent. ► Block copolymer membranes exhibited excellent thermal stability.
