Simultaneous production of hydrogen and ethanol from waste glycerol by Enterobacter aerogenes KKU-S1

► Simultaneous production of hydrogen and ethanol from waste glycerol were studied. ► Newly isolated bacterium Enterobacter aerogenes KKU-S1 is used as seed inoculum. ► HPR of 0.24 mol H2/L h and ethanol production of 116.26 mmol/L were achieved.
