Fabrication of dye sensitized solar cell using gel polymer electrolytes consisting poly(ethylene oxide)-acetamide composite

A new gel type polymer electrolyte by incorporating acetamide in PEO was synthesized and used in the application of DSSC. The photo electrochemical studies of the DSSCs were studied under solar simulator of standard AM1.5 (85 mW cm−2). Addition of acetamide in the polymer electrolyte results in the increment of Jsc and photocurrent conversion efficiency.210
