All-solid-state lithium battery with LiBH4 solid electrolyte

► An all-solid-state battery using LiBH4 as a solid electrolyte is prepared. ► LiBH4 has good compatibility with a lithium anode. ► It presents a large resistance at the interface with a LiCoO2 cathode. ► Use of a Li3PO4 intermediate layer decreases the interfacial resistance.
