Oxide ion diffusion in Ba-doped LaInO3 perovskite: A molecular dynamics study

► The trajectories of ions were analyzed through molecular dynamics. ► The Ba dopant in the LaInO3 forms bottlenecks with various sizes. ► Small bottlenecks were proved to block the migrations of oxygen ions. ► Oxygen conduction was affected by the distribution of doped Ba ions.
