چکیده انگلیسی

In this work several samples of Quercus agrifolia activated carbon, the porous structure of which was nanostructured by chemical activation with NaOH and KOH, were evaluated for hydrogen adsorption at 77 K and atmospheric pressure. Hydrogen adsorption reached values in the order of 2.7 wt.% for KOH activated carbon. The mechanism of formation of the porous nanostructures was found to be the key factor in controlling the hydrogen adsorption capacity of chemically activated carbon.
