Cationic copper complex with ligand L1Me [bis(2-methylbenzimidazolyl)(2-methylthioethyl)amine is presented with evidence of its interaction with a human erythrocyte. This result, together with its antiproliferative activity, is rationalized mainly based on its lipophilicity.231
