Fabrication of bismuth superhydrophobic surface on zinc substrate

The dendritic Bi/Bi2O3/ZnO superhydrophobic surface was fabricated on zinc substrate via a facile chemical etching, electrodeless immersion and annealing treatment. Its excellent apparent water-repellency can be confirmed by the rebounded droplet, buoyancy and the mirror-like air layer.221
