Syntheses, structures, and luminescence of a series of novel trimetallic coordination polymers constructed by Cu-I clusters and alkaline-carboxyl- alkaline-earth building units

Seven trimetallic coordination polymer have been synthesized using isonicotinic acid as ligand. X-ray results showed that the compounds 1-7 displayed different three dimensional frameworks and topologies constructed by Cu-I units and different alkaline-carboxyl- alkaline-earth rod building units. The photoluminscent investigation revealed that the compounds 1, 3, 5 and 6 emitted strong yellow, while compound 2, 4 and 7 emitted strong orange light.324
