Three cadmium phosphonates have been hydrothermally synthesized using 4-(1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)phenylphosphonic acid (H2ptz) as ligand and Cdptz-1 and 2 can reversibly convert into each other by simple immersing in the corresponding solution at room temperature.192
