Crystal structure and luminescence properties of a novel red-emitting phosphor BaAlBO3F2:Eu3+

The luminescence behavior and Rietveld refinement of BaAlBO3F2:Eu3+ indicate that the red-emitting phosphor has potential application in white LED and the host has a hexagonal structure with P-6 space group.161
