Non-linear thermal evolution of the crystal structure and phase transitions of LaFeO3 investigated by high temperature X-ray diffraction

► The crystal structure of LaFeO3 is studied by HTXRD from RT to 1533 K. ► A non-linear expansion across the Néel temperature is observed for LaFeO3. ► The ratio VA/VB is used to rationalize the thermal evolution of the structure.
