Behavior of silver molybdate at high-pressure

► First in-situ X-ray diffraction and Raman study of cubic silver molybdate at high pressure. ► Commencement of a structural transition to a tetragonal phase is found at 2.3 GPa. ► The high-pressure phase is found to have positional disorder. ► A bulk modulus of 113 GPa is obtained from the equation of state.
