A neutron diffraction study of oxygen and nitrogen ordering in a kinetically stable orthorhombic iron doped titanium oxynitride

► Partial oxygen and nitrogen ordering has been observed using neutron diffraction. ► A large powder sample has been made by removal of a CVD film from a steel substrate. ► Structural details of Ti2.92Fe0.01O4.02N0.98 are reported for the first time.
