Modifications of ribonuclease A induced by p-benzoquinone

► RNase modifications induced by p-benzoquinone (pBQ) are presented and discussed. ► SDS-PAGE and confocal microscopic results show the aggregation of RNase. ► pBQ induces adduct formation, oligomerization and polymeric aggregation of RNase. ► RNase modification is accompanied by weaker fluorescence and higher anisotropy.
