Preparation of polyelectrolyte/calcium phosphate hybrids for drug delivery application

- CMC/CHI/calcium phosphate hybrids were successively synthesized via biomimetic mineralization process.
- The organic/inorganic ratio of the hybrids was controlled by SBF concentration.
- Different techniques were used to prove and investigate the mineralization process.
- Swelling% and drug release behavior of bovine serum albumin was found to be dependent on the inorganic content.
