► AgNP containing paper was successfully prepared. ► The prepared antibacterial paper sheet has antibacterial effect against Candida, Staphyl., Pseudo. ► The UV-vis absorption spectrum exhibited absorption around 400-420 nm, confirming the formation of AgNP.
