Biodegradable polymer based encapsulation of neem oil nanoemulsion for controlled release of Aza-A

► Neem oil nanoemulsion was encapsulated using sodium alginate. ► Starch and PEG were used as coating agents. ► The encapsulated neem oil nanoemulsion was almost spherical in shape. ► Coated beads exhibited controlled and efficient release of Aza-A. ► Encapsulated beads can be used in various fields.
