A novel teichuronic acid, the major polymer from the cell wall of Actinoplanes lobatus VKM Ac-676T

- The cell wall glycopolymers of Actinoplanes lobatus VKM Ac-676T are studied.
- The presence of two glycopolymers (teichuronic and teichoic acids) is shown.
- The established structure of teichuronic acid are not early described for Gram positive bacteria.
- A teichoic acid that has a poly(glycosylpolyol phosphate) nature.
