Antioxidant phenolic glycosides from the roots of Illicium dunnianum

► Chemical investigation of the roots of Illicium dunnianum. ► Eight new phenolic glycosides and nine known ones were obtained. ► Their antioxidant activities against Fe2+-cystine-induced rat liver microsomal lipid peroxidation were evaluated. ► Seven compounds exhibited significant antioxidant activities.
