Syntheses, crystal structures and photophysical properties of a series of Zn-Ln coordination polymers

A series of 2D Zn-Ln (Ln = Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Er, Yb, Pr, Nd) coordination polymers have been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized. Polymers 1-7 are isomorphous, while polymers 8 and 9 are also isomorphous with one more coordinated water molecule relative to polymer 1. Some of them exhibit characteristic luminescence of Ln (III) ions owing to the sensitization of d-block (Zn-ligand section).250
