Synthesis, spectroscopic characterization, biological studies and DFT calculations on some transition metal complexes of NO donor ligand

The new metal complexes of 2-oxo-4,6-diphenyl-1,2-dihyropyridine-3-carbonitrile (L) with Fe(III), Co(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Y(III), Zr(IV) and La(III) were synthesized. The chemical formulas, structures and antimicrobial behavior were investigated.191
