Crystallographic studies on complexes of potassium iodide and copper perchlorate with N, Nʹ-dicyclohexylurea tethered to a benzo-12-crown-4

The present study explores the coordination behaviour of N, N′-dicyclohexylurea capped benzo-12-crown-4 (compound 1). This compound has been crystallized with monovalent KI (2) and bivalent CuClO4 (3) salts. The significant conformational differences were observed in N, N′-dicyclohexylurea capped benzo-12-Crown-4 compound in presence of metal ions.248
