Anti-HIV and cytotoxic biphenyls, benzophenones and xanthones from stems, leaves and twigs of Garcinia speciosa

Previously undescribed benzophenones (garciosones A‒D), xanthones (garciosones E−H) and biphenyls (garciosines A−C) together with eighteen known compounds were isolated from stem, leaves and twigs of Garcinia speciosa Wall. (Clusiaceae). Cytotoxic and anti-HIV activities of the isolated compounds were evaluated.181
