Clerodane diterpenoids from Scutellaria formosana with inhibitory effects on NO production and interactions with iNOS protein

Five previously undescribed spiro-diterpenoids, scutellapenes A−E, were isolated and characterized from Scutellaria formosana. All of the compounds showed inhibitory effects on NO production.298
