Luminescent behaviors of salts based on 2-phenyl-1H-benzimidazole

Three benzimidazolium salts were obtained and were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The luminescent properties can be tuned by the anions and the maximal emission bands are proportional to the intermolecular packing interactions.195
