Tuneable colour-emitting Ce3+, Eu3+/K+ and Ce3+/Tb3+ doped BaSiF6 phosphors via charge compensation and energy transfer

Pure Ce3+ and Tb3+ co-doped BaSiF6 phosphors have been synthesized via one-step hydrothermal method. The color has been designed to tune from orange to green along with the concentration varied. Thus, the novel BaSiF6 phosphors show great potential application in the field of w-LED as a new-emerging host matrix.231
