pH-controlled doxorubicin delivery from PDEAEMA-based nanogels

In this work, the suitability of the PDEAEMA-based nanogels to be used as anticancer nanocarriers is analyzed. Nanogels show high drug loading and encapsulation efficiency together with pH-dependent drug delivery. The uptake of DOXO-loaded nanogels into cancer cells and the subsequent progressive release of the drug from the nanogels into the cytoplasm and diffusing to the cell nuclei are demonstrated.62
