Thermoplastic composites keep gaining momentum in the automotive industry

The Austria-based POLYTEC GROUP is a leading developer and manufacturer of plastic parts with over 4200 employees worldwide. Their plant in Roosendaal, The Netherlands, is part of the COMPOSITES business unit and supplies fiber reinforced plastic parts to the automotive industry. We talked to their business development engineer Martijn de Koning to get the lowdown on current and future composite technology in the automotive industry.
