Adhesion of thin Au layers on glass treated with Ar plasma and biphenyl-4,4′-dithiol

Adhesion of thin Au layers sputtered on variously modified borosilicate glass substrates was evaluated by scratch test method. Ar plasma treatment was found to significantly improve the adhesion.107
