Mechanical properties study of a magnetron-sputtered Zr-based thin film metallic glass

► We deposit six Zr-based thin film metallic glasses with various nitrogen contents. ► Nanocomposite feature forms as N content is higher than 11.1 at.%. ► The Zr-based thin film metallic glass with 13.8 at.% N exhibits the optimal mechanical properties.
