Synchronized imagery of noctilucent clouds at the day-night terminator using airborne and spaceborne platforms

►Noctilucent Cloud structures were observed from a synchronized airborne and spaceborne platform. ►We observe an overlay of prominent features and coincidence of band orientation. ►Aircraft imagery can discriminate cloud structures finer than spaceborne imager resolution. ►Represents to our knowledge the first such coincident measurement of noctilucent clouds.
