Vortex dynamics and matching effect in superconductors with planar pinning arrays

► We perform simulation of vortex dynamics in the presence of planar pinning arrays. ► Periodic arrays composed of two pinning intervals are investigated. ► We discuss the matching effect for the periodic arrays of planar pinning.
