Experimental verification of a two-dimensional respiratory motion compensation system with ultrasound tracking technique in radiation therapy

The proposed UITA and RMCS can reduce the movement of the tracked target relative to the LINAC in radiation therapy, thereby reducing the required size of the PTV margin and increasing the effect of the radiation dose received by the treatment target.
