Defective GATA-3 expression in Th2 LCR-deficient mice

► GATA-3 expression and phosphorylation of STAT6 were lost in Th2 LCR-deficient cells. ► The gata3 locus is in an inactive status in these cells. ► The gata3 locus was bound and activated by GATA-3 itself and STAT6. ► Thus gata3 expression in Th2 cells is regulated by a feed-forward mechanism.
