High efficiency of energy flux controls within mitochondrial interactosome in cardiac intracellular energetic units

► We studied the distribution of the control between the components of MI supercomplex. ► The flux control coefficients were measured using two protocols. ► One protocol was with direct ADP activation and the second with creatine activation. ► We showed that the metabolic control is stronger in the case of creatine activation. ► In physiological conditions the energy transfer is regulated by the MI supercomplex.
