Serum levels of N-terminal fragment of precursor protein brain-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) in twin pregnancy

► Women consisting of 13 twin and 99 singleton pregnancies were studied. ► Serum NT-proBNP levels were determined at 24 and 35 weeks of gestation. ► Women with twin pregnancies exhibited an increase in NT-proBNP levels. ► Women with singleton pregnancies exhibited a decrease over the same period.
