Synthesis of diosgenin analogues as potential anti-inflammatory agents

- Analogue 15 significantly inhibits TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-1β in LPS-induced sepsis model.
- Therapeutic efficacy of analogue 15 was without any toxic effect on mice.
- Strong binding affinity of analogue 15 to the active site of inflammatory proteins.
