High level expression of active recombinant human interleukin-3 in Pichia pastoris

► High-level expression of recombinant human interleukin-3 was achieved in Pichia pastoris. ► rhil-3 was purified with Ni+-NTA affinity and DEAE anion exchange chromatography. ► rhil-3 was glycosylated by enzymatic treatment and mass spectroscopic analysis.
