Application of winery and distillery waste composts to a Jumilla (SE Spain) vineyard: Effects on the characteristics of a calcareous sandy-loam soil

▶ Winery-distillery composts have a potential of increasing soil organic N pool. ▶ The incorporation of the organic materials initially activated soil microbiota. ▶ Compost addition increased available soil macro and micronutrient contents. ▶ Amendment effects in the soil were similar among them after three growing seasons.
