چکیده انگلیسی
▶ A boreal AS soil contains more organic carbon than the corresponding non-AS soil. ▶ Nitrogen stocks in the C horizons were higher in the AS soil than in the non-AS soil. ▶ Microbial activity in the C horizons of AS soil was high. ▶ The microbial community probably originated with the genesis of AS soils. ▶ AS soils can be conducive to large emissions of CO2 and N2O.
