Assessment of homozygosity levels in the mito-gynogenetic torafugu (Takifugu rubripes) by genome-wide SNP analyses

► Mito-gynogenetic torafugu was induced by UV irradiation and cold shock treatments. ► Whole-genome sequencing was performed using the DNA from a mitotic gynogen. ► Genome-wide SNP analyses revealed that the mitotic gynogen was doubled haploid. ► We established genome-wide SNP analyses method for homozygosity assessment.
