Efficiency of two fragments of VP28 against White Spot Syndrome Virus in Litopenaeus vannamei

► White spot syndrome virus (WSSV) leads to devastating losses in shrimp farming. ► VP28 was divided two parts for define the key functional fragment against WSSV. ► VP28C caused a better resistance against WSSV through the virus challenge test. ► VP28C attribute to the upregulating some shrimp anti-viral genes.
