Physiologic and Psychologic Risk Factors in Central Serous Chorioretinopathy

This study sheds light on the unique psychologic functioning of patients with CSCR: preoccupied, inflexible, perfectionist (obsessive-compulsive tendency), competitive, ambitious, impatient, high achiever (Type A personality), and under continuous stress. In addition, caffeine abuse and premature ejaculation were linked to CSCR.
