Intérêt préventif de la thérapie par pression négative dans la prise en charge des abords vasculaires fémoraux
چکیده انگلیسی
The healing of femoral surgical access sites is complicated. Lymphoceles, lymphorrhea and nonunions expose patients to surgical site infections (SSIs) which can extend to the implanted device, compromising patients' functional and vital prognosis. Complications with the healing of these access sites are common, estimated at between 20 and 30 % in literature. A non-randomised, monocentric, prospective, observational study has been carried out in order to assess the benefit of a protocol for postoperative local wound care using negative pressure. Patients with one or two femoral access sites for vascular surgery were included. The results indicate that the preventive use of negative pressure can significantly reduce the duration of postoperative drainage and reduce the seriousness of nonunions and the frequency of SSIs as well as the use of negative pressure wound therapy for healing by second intention and the rate of reoperation for parietal complications.
